The Labor Relations Process Relative to the Principles of Economics

Abstract: A 5 page paper discussing the labor relations process and ways that the principles of economics could add insight to it. The paper suggests that students could be better informed within the process by either industry or through course material were they to give more attention to the desperate working conditions in which the unions were born and the changes that have occurred in business since then, such as a diminishing tolerance for the autocratic management that was common at the height of union activity.
