Abstract: This 7.5 page paper is an in-depth examination of the reasons why teen girls engage in crime, and the types of crime that are most prevelent among this age group. The goal of this paper is to highlight that these young girls are typically victims of circumstance rather than cold-blooded offenders, and therefore rehabilitation efforts must recognize this important characteristic.
