Everyday Decisions

Abstract: This is a 6 page original short story discussing the decisions faced by Ginny, a woman in her mid-twenties, when her and her husband decide to have a child. Ginny must weigh her choices and their consequences in regards to returning to work after the child is born or staying and home and not providing financially for the family. She reflects back to her studies at university and the writings and lives of women writers such as Virginia Woolf and Charlotte Perkins Gilman who at the time had inspired her to campaign for women
