The Negativities of Steroid Use Among High School Athletes

Abstract: A 7 page overview of the many negative consequences of unsupervised steroid use. This paper documents the specific physiological dangers of this practice and suggests the problem confronting us as a society is to not only effectively communicate the potentially dangerous aspects of unsupervised steroid use but also to provide an alternative to such practices which has the capacity to captivate young minds and to instill in them the desire to accomplish athletic mastery through more constructive approaches.
