Abstract: A 15 page paper. Alcoholic Anonymous is a fellowship that operates differently than another kind of organization. It is truly democratic with only the steps, traditions and concepts to guide it. There are no laws, by-laws or governing persons. This paper offers a brief overview of the beginnings of this fellowship, reports the traditions that guide it, the dedication to service and corporate poverty and how it functions.
