The Constitution of Costa Rica

Abstract: 10 pages. This paper will focus on the Costa Rican constitution, its political practices and government in general. The organization of the government as well as the current state of the civil rights and liberties will be compared in general with that of the United States. The political cultures and values will be explored by showing how various components of the political machinery works in Costa Rica. The election process, the process it takes to add amendments to their constitution and the relationship between the sub-national governments will be considered in this political environment.
