Abstract: A 9 page comparison of the spiritual quest in H.D.'s The Walls Do Not Fall and T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land. The writer argues that H.D. succeeds in re-visioning an internal spirituality in terms of a personal quest, while Eliot does not succeed in this effort because of his reliance on dogma and externalities. Bibliography lists 7 sources.
