Socrates on Love

Abstract: A 5 page paper which presents a instructional example of a speech that Socrates may have given on the topic of love. Of all the things that Socrates spoke of, he did not really ever give his own theories regarding love, believing he knew nothing about love. In the work 'The Symposium' by Plato, Socrates turns to providing another's speech in describing what love is, further indicating love was something he felt incapable of describing.
